Reiki (RAY-key) - a Japanese word meaning spiritual
wisdom (Rei) and life energy (ki).
Reiki practitioners are conduits, or channels,
for the healing energy which flows from God, the Supreme Intelligence. Energy flows through the hands into the body,
to heal: When all three elements of a person
or an animal are balanced in this way, perfect health occurs naturally and freely, healing physical, mental and emotional
"dis-ease".
Reiki can be used alone, or in conjunction with, medical or veterinary
treatment. It is incapable of harm and will not interfere with medications or other procedures.
Dr. Mehmet Oz (of Oprah
Show fame) uses Reiki practitioners during open-heart surgery. The U.S. Department of Defense has proven that Reiki aids in healing Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder.
Some clients report seeing colors, visions, hearing messages, and other psychic experiences,
while others feel a peaceful calm come over them during treatment.
Another dimension of Reiki Healing
is long distance Reiki, which is just as effective as in-person Reiki, and is available at the same rates.
